Hello, World!

In case you don’t know, “Hello, World!” is a customary first message. In this case, it is also the literal introduction of a world itself.

This is the author site for A.M. Sterling, fantasy writer and designer. The primary purpose of this site is to serve as a communications channel with the public about my books, the first of which (The Mountain Throne) is expected to be available via Amazon in September, 2017. I am also an aspiring game designer and have put significant work into some board games. If all goes well, the first of these may be made available in the 3rd or 4th quarter of 2018.

If you’d like to get started exploring the world of the novels, you may do so here. The World Wiki is, by nature, a work in progress. Right now, there is vastly more information in my notes and my mind than in the World Wiki. My primary effort now is on finishing the last logistical and editing tasks for The Mountain Throne’s release, to be followed by more entries in the Wiki so that readers and the curious can discover more about Urrael and perhaps decide if they would like to visit, and then changing gears to focus on book II. I’m currently on chapter 5 of the second book, if anyone is wondering.

I’ll leave posts here from time to time to talk about my work, matters of interest to readers, authorship in general, or other relevant topics. I might even give a glimpse into my life occasionally, though I will not be using this as a soapbox to scream about my pet social or political issues.
